Washington, D.C. - Today Representative Jesús "Chuy" García (IL-04) voted to pass the Raise the Wage Act in the U.S House of Representatives. This bill will gradually increase the federal minimum wage over the next six years to $15 an hour. Increasing the wages of nearly 180,000 workers in Illinois' 4th Congressional District.
