CPF Overview
Community Project Funding (CPF) is an initiative for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) that allows Members of Congress to request direct funding for projects that benefit the communities they represent. CPF is separate from federal grants and funding apportioned by formula. CPF’s are also not regular appropriations requests, which deal with overall funding levels for federal programs.
