WASHINGTON, DC-- This week Congressmen Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) and Steve Cohen (TN-09) and Senators Edward J. Markey (D-Massachusetts) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) reintroduced the Forbidding Airlines from Imposing Ridiculous (FAIR) Fees Act. This bicameral legislation would prohibit airlines from charging fees – including bag, seating, cancellation, and change fees – that are not reasonable or proportional to the costs of the services actually provided.

This will be the first immigrant integration and job center in Gage Park. Congressman García helped secure $500,000 in community project funding as part of the year-end government spending package for the PODER Headquarters.
