CHICAGO– Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) and IL State Senator Celina Villanueva met yesterday with stakeholders in the field of reproductive health to discuss the current challenges of reproductive rights in their communities. The roundtable also focused on working with advocates to identify opportunities for the protection and advancement of reproductive rights.

CHICAGO— Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) announced that Abby Favro, a constituent from Elmhurst, will be his guest at President Biden’s State of the Union on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in Washington, DC. Favro is the Chief Development Officer for Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPIL). In that role she oversees development efforts and activities, including the RESOLVE Campaign, which aims to protect and broaden access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care.

CHICAGO– On Wednesday, February 22, during their quarterly meeting the Proviso Municipal League presented U.S. Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) with the Nautical Sextant Award for his leadership and vision. The Proviso Municipal League is comprised of Mayors of the Western Cook County suburbs and led by Northlake Mayor Sherwin, North Riverside Mayor Mengoni, and Hillside Mayor Tamburino.
