CHICAGO — Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García (IL-04) issued the following statement in support of opening a new police station at the Midway Armory.  The armory, located at 63rd and Long, has been closed and unused for seven years, and Gov. JB Pritzker signed legislation to transfer the armory for $1 from the state to the city for a new police district station.
