Representatives Jesús "Chuy" García (IL-04), Jim Costa (CA-16), and Raúl Grijalva (AZ-03) led a letter urging the Biden administration to end the Trump-era Employer Correction Request Notices, also known as the "No-Match Letter" program. Representatives Grace Napolitano (CA-32), Ayanna Pressley (MA-07), Jan Schakowsky (IL-09), Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12), Pramila Jayapal (WA-07), Marie Newman (IL-03), Judy Chu (CA-27), Juan Vargas (CA-29) and Tony Cárdenas (CA-29) also co-signed the letter.

Washington, D.C.Today Congressman Jesús "Chuy" García (IL-04), Congresswoman Judy Chu (CA-27), and 30 Members of Congress sent a letter to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) urging the bureau to provide resources to allow mixed-status families to more easily claim the stimulus payments they are owed. Mixed-status families, in which one parent does not have a social security number, are owed payments under the December 2020 stimulus package and the American Rescue Plan.
