Chicago, IL. - Representatives Jesύs "Chuy" García (IL-04), Barbara Lee (CA-13) and 39 cosponsors introduced the Rental Eviction Moratorium Act today to prohibit landlords from evicting rental tenants during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The bill will be part of the third COVID-19 stimulus package introduced by the House of Representatives, the Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act.
