CHICAGO, IL– Today Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García joined PODER, a non-profit organization that works with the Spanish-speaking immigrant community in Chicago, at the opening of its new headquarters. This will be the first immigrant integration and job center in Gage Park. Congressman García helped secure $500,000 in community project funding as part of the year-end government spending package for the PODER Headquarters.
