CHICAGO, IL —Three young people are dead. My heart is broken for the families as they grieve the unthinkable loss of a child. Today, the incident was right outside my office, on Archer Ave. This is a tragic reminder that illegal drifting is never safe, no matter where it takes place. I urge the community to report to the authorities if they suspect or witness such activities to prevent future tragedies from occurring.
